The Embracing Aging Fair is now Embracing Aging Chaffee!
We’ve grown from a stand-alone, one-day-only annual event, to creating an ever-growing resource website & hosting multiple live events around the county, throughout the year.
Guidestone Director Andrea Coen welcomes guests at the 2019 Embracing Aging fair. We’ve opted to create a number of in-person experiences throughout the county this year to provide greater access, expanded one-on-one opportunities, and fun activities!
Embracing Aging Chaffee offers residents an easy-to-use resource, timely in-person events, and consistent outreach. This gives sponsors a variety of ways to share their products or services with a rapidly growing number of people looking for ways to age better.
In order to create more personal, purposeful, and safe social interactions, Embracing Aging Chaffee will be hosting multiple outdoor “mini-fairs” around Chaffee County during the entire month of September (Healthy Aging Month).
Each mini-fair will offer a number of on-site health screenings, health and resource concierges, as well as lots of engaging activities, healthy food options, and fun!

Staying in our own communities as we age improves lives, strengthens families, and saves money. Older Coloradans leave only when barriers to remain become too great – restricting mobility, accelerating isolation, even threatening health and safety.
Join us in celebrating Healthy Aging Month each year with our month-long community outreach. Get your products and services in front of the people who are searching for them!

Each location will host a core set of free health assessments provided by Chaffee County Public Health and SolVista, art activities, food and drink, and give-away bags.
