In this course, GARNA staff (Dominique Naccarato, GARNA Executive Director, and Cat Anderson, Resource Management project), and friends will help course participants examine improved home use of natural resources including water, energy, waste and more. Students will learn how to decrease environmental impact and save money. Based on the premise that the resources that flow throughout one’s home, business and community are part of a greater network of impact, a technique called Process Modeling will help students identify sustainability solutions that work for their personal lives. By the end of the course students will have created their own roadmap towards increasing sustainability in their home that will guide them well into the future.
