Title: Walk and Talk Tuesdays
Type of Walk: Slow to moderate pace to meet everyone’s needs. Approximate distance-2-3 miles in one hour on a concrete path. Dogs, strollers, wheelchairs are all welcome!
Walk Description: This walk is to get everyone out to enjoy fresh air, sunshine and movement. We want to encourage walkers to get to know someone new along the way and have rich conversations with each other. We will be walking up and back on the Monarch Spur Trail in downtown Salida which is handicap accessible. Please contact your host if you have questions.
Walk Host: Marilyn Bouldin is an older adult who is a passionate walker and wants to help motivate people of all ages and abilities to take a walk for their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. She has walked/hiked the 485 mile Colorado Trail (over a 6 year period) and the 483 mile Camino de Santiago in Spain and would love to share stories from those experiences.
